Christians will go through hard times. But that doesn’t mean that woe is me. Instead, we must know what Romans 8:28 says, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” So yes, you may have to quit your job, you may be sick, or you may have to quit your job to homeschool your kids. But remember the goodness that comes out of these things. You may have to stand for Christ in your workplace and leave a job that is disobedient to God to show others that God is real. You may have been sick but shared the gospel with others through your struggle. You may have to quit you job and lose extra funds for luxuries and homeschool your children, so they aren’t taken over by the devil’s schemes of deception in school. There might be a struggle in your life, and you may not know what’s going to happen. But I promise you this, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” So, remember that the fruit of your labor will be rewarded and what seems to be a struggle now, may turn into your biggest blessing. You may get a job that feeds the Word of God into people, you may see those you ministered to in heaven, and your kids will grow up loving God, knowing that You cared enough to save them from the enemy's schemes. So, remember Romans 8:18, “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” God will reward you for your obedience to Him!
God bless.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You that we get to obey You. Help us yield to the commands that you have written on our hearts. James 4:4, “You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.” So, help us continually yield to the Holy Spirit. Matthew 19:26, " . . .with God all things are possible.” In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
